I also visited Kuan, an old friend from Syracuse University while I was in Singapore. Practically every Southeast Asian family household has a maid. Malaysian (as well as Chinese-Malaysian) home-cook food is good. We did arts & craft with Kuan's mom (she's an Art teacher). The highlight of the trip got to be the Mosquito Attack, which kept us awake the whole night! I have never been so scared, so frustrated, so irritated in my whole life...
